In this mummy writing project, students will learn more about mummies, then work on one of the following writing prompts. You choose which prompt works best for your students. ►Opinion Writing Section- In this section, students are ask to form an opinion about mummies, then defend their opinion with evidence. Includes brainstorm, rough draft, and final draft pages.
►Narrative Writing Section- For this section, students are given an opportunity to explore what they think it would be like to be a mummy. Students are encouraged to add details to their story through the brainstorm and rough draft. Also includes final draft writing pages.

►Mummy Craft- 2 options for a simple art project to finish off your student’s writing piece. Option one: students draw a picture of them and their friend. Option two: Students color and decorate their paper person outline, then attach to their writings
